I Rival Sons sono una rock blues band californiana di Los Angeles formatasi nel 2008. Alla voce Jay Buchanan, alla chitarra Scott Holiday, al basso Robin Everhart e alla batteria Mike Miley. Hanno auto-prodotto il loro primo album Before the Fire (2009). Nel 2010 hanno firmato con la Earache Records e hanno pubblicato nel 2011 un EP, Rival Sons e a giugno un nuovo album Pressure & Time scritto, registrato e mixato in soli 20 giorni. Hanno partecipato quest'anno al Sonisphere Festival, che si è tenuto il 26 giugno 2011 a Imola.
